When Was the SEE 2082 Exam Held?
The SEE 2082 exam was held from Chaitra 19 to Chaitra 29, 2082, which is April 2 to April 12, 2026. All exams were held from 8 AM to 11 AM daily.
A total of 430,667 students appeared in the regular category this year. Of them, 254,801 were male students and 257,613 were female students. The exams were held across 1,966 exam centers including one center in Japan. A total of 11,379 schools participated this year. Around 73,500 personnel including superintendents, invigilators, and security forces were deployed for exam management.
Paper checking was completed by April 19, 2026. Marks entry started on April 22, 2026. Final tabulation and verification was completed by early May 2026. The result was published on May 12, 2026, just 29 days after the last exam. This is the fastest SEE result publication in Nepal’s history.

The speed increase this year is because NEB introduced on-site evaluation, meaning answer sheets were checked at exam centers directly instead of being sent to district offices. The Ministry of Education had instructed NEB to publish results within one month of exam completion. NEB delivered in 29 days.
The pass percentage for SEE 2082 is 65.98 percent. GPA distribution shows 48,392 students scored between 3.60 and 4.00. Another 80,372 students scored between 3.20 and 3.60. A total of 94,222 students obtained GPAs between 2.80 and 3.20. A total of 55,977 students scored between 2.40 and 2.80 GPA. A total of 5,190 students scored between 2.00 and 2.40. And 146,507 students received NG.
